Definitely, although a little disappointed that there won't be any VR support for it (sounds like it's essentially going to be a completely separated game more than an expansion). I've been deliberately keeping away from the early access version or any other spoilers, beyond knowing where the setting is.

Re: What video games are you playing?
I bought the BioShock collection a few weeks ago. While I've played the original twice before, I never played the other two, so I did BioShock 2...and man is it great. The story, the themes, the characters, all as good as the original in my opinion. I even think it's scarier than the original (thanks in part to the Big Sisters). Hell, I think 2 has a better final level, as the final boss of the original BioShock was never that good, in my opinion (and apparently even the creators though the final boss of the first wasn't any good either).
Gonna play BioShock Infinite soon.

Plus they improved on the hacking system. It's a rare sight when a quick-time-event can actually IMPROVE a game, but...ChrisTheLovableJerk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 5:49 pm I bought the BioShock collection a few weeks ago. Oh yeah, I liked the hacking system just fine in BioShock 1, but man it could get stressful. BioShock 2 was easier and a bit more fun, but still a challenge at times.ProfessorDetective wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 6:19 amPlus they improved on the hacking system. I've been having some fun with a Elite Dangerous again. Next update means Fleet Carriers. Which is going to be awesome.
Other than that I finally played Stellaris which is absolutely great. You can come up with all these fun narratives for your star empire while the 4X "Just one more turn" playstyle devours your free time.
Last of all, WoW classic. Awesome. That's some nostalgia talking but a lot of it has the old buzz of the original release. The massive population surge and the old playstyle. Sort of a combination of remember where all the old quests were, and not having singposts/markers to lead you by the nose to all of them. Having to read quest text to know where you're going, grouping up with random people and socialising again for dungeon groups.
I gave up on WoW mid Cataclysm. WoW Classic feels so much more fun, all the things they added to the game actually took away from it. All the social aspects you needed to succeed or just random grouping with guys for levelling you no longer needed in the streamlined modern game. Just wondering how WoW classic will last in the long run after the initial novelty wears off.

I've been playing WoW Classic as well, because Mrs. Wedgius is having a blast in it. She's hoping for a TBC release. Well, it could happen...
