A no deal exit will cripple the country and force us to go back to the EU with a weaker neogiating posistion.

Two problems with that:

One, given the current redlines May already negotiated the best deal that the UK is going to get.

Two, as a negotiation tactic No Deal is rough on par with the UK pointing a gun at it's own foot and threatening to ruin the EU's suit with the resulting blood.

Somehow global commerce stops because the UK isn't in the EU anymore? I guess the UK doesn't trade with anyone other than EU members? Are they proposing an embargo? Who will buy all that Spanish greenhouse veg or the Dane's bacon and butter?
When I lived there produce came from all over the world, not just the EU. Kenyan green beans and flowers, Israeli peppers, Chilean cherries, New Zealand Lamb, American corn... Plus there is the domestic production of food on land and from fisheries long owned by the UK. It's not doomsday, it's change. Change legally and democratically mandated by majority and it is far past time it should be done with.

Yeah people voted for a rise in public disorder, food shortages, rise in electricity prices and medicine shortages.

Under no deal? Commerce is significantly reduced as the UK would be operating strictly under WTO rules without any direct trade agreements and that includes the food stuffs from non EU countries as the UK only has trade agreements through the EU. Domestic production isn't actually a solution for the UK as the UK is a net importer of food, ie it cannot feed itself.

And before you say that such red tape won't matter if people are really desperate, remember that most direct donations of food sent to Haiti after the earthquake wound up rotting on the docks due to red tape.

Not a good look from Luxembourg ''empty platforming'' Mr Johnson. Being insulted by a country that is so small it might as well be a county really is not convincing us to stay. It is pettiness that has hardened Leavers, and frankly the threat that they will veto a Brexit extension is an empty threat as he will never bite the EU hand that feeds him.

The reason why Boris wasn't there was becasue he didn't want a face protest from British expats.

Where do you get the idea that the EU wants you guys to stay? The initial extensions were about you guys putting together plans that weren't self-contradictory, and after that plan was rejected it looks to me that the others have been about giving the EU time to brace for a no deal Brexit.
