B&B really did a number on her, I'd be fine with something something wormhole aliens negative space wedgie bringing back Jadzia. If anyone in established canon has the ability to halt time and un-join a Trill it's gotta be The Prophets. Or Q. Q would be fun.
Just Berman. Braga has zero involvement with DS9.

Oh God, Jadzia in the Picard series would be so much cringe... look at what they're doing, focusing on the political/factional aspects of TNG more than... any kind of real science of dreams of the future we used to have with the space program. It's horrible.

This is Star Trek, you can do it in three lines.

"Jadzia Dax? I thought you were killed decades ago."

"Oh, I'm not this timeline's Jadzia Dax. I'm from a temporary alternate universe created by a time anomaly."

"Huh. One of those."

I'd prefer if she didn't come back. Hire the actor who played Ezri, FFS. There goes continuity...

Q forbid that Star Trek fans have a sense of humor about these things.

And it would be continuity.

Literally, the exact same thing happened with Tasha Yar and was a major plot point.

I actually liked Ezri. Now that said, if they say she's from another timeline, sure. But this just seeks of another retcon like, "No, Jadzia actually survived, and has been absent for the last few decades."

Eh, Star Trek is made of retcons.

Then again, I'm a big fan of "Trip is alive!"

But yes, I'm looking forward to this show and doubt that we'll see any more resurrections other than Data. I am assuming, and this WILL sound crazy, that what we're getting will be pretty similar to Star Trek Online. There's Romulans, Borg technology, and the Hobus explosion disaster. I can totally believe this will be a story about the Romulan Star Empire descending into chaos and becoming Space Syria/Iraq with them trying to rebuild with advanced super-tech from the Borg.

Will the Iconians be involved? Probably not but I remember Online's Romulan campaign as one of the best.

Retcons are a last resort.

You cannot use them as a building block.

Can't we? I mean the Klingon Empire as we know it was retconned in.

Yup, TOS Klingon Empire and TNG Klingon Empire are very different. TOS one was pretty much allegory for Soviet Union when TNG one is warrior culture with they own idea of honor.
