Just saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T_D8OuuiWs and it fits so well with the discussion that was going on here that I just had to share it. Who know, might enlighten a few of you. Most likely will make you double down though.
If Chuck or a mod reads this feel free do delete my account. I would do it myself but I don't seem to be able to find a delete account option. phpBB should have such an option but I guess this isn't stock phpBB.

What I find interesting about Japan and kind of admire is how they have no qualms with nudity or being naked in places where we do. Like communal baths. I think Madner Kami had even once said they are both super expressive and yet also deeply repressed. But on the scale of super expressive, it's something I do respect.

The Americans tried to stop most of that. True story: that is the supposed reason for the notorious panty fixation, they used to not wear underwear until the Americans made them. They also did not have a thing for bowling ball sized boobs either.

No you moron, after the war when the US took over Japan and imposed it's culture and laws on the Japanese.

Fun fact about forcing underwear on the Japs. Undergarments back then were WAY MORE conservative. No fun. NOW it is fun. So yeah, while there's a cultural reason, it's also about fashion and comfort and sex appeal. And anime knows this. :lol:

Japan doesn't need more babies, they need more immigrants. Plenty of people who can help boost the workforce if the Japanese can only (a) make their country more attractive to immigrants by instituting more worker protections, and (b) let more immigrants in.
