The anarcho-syndicalists prepare to fight for their lives.

With Trump being....Trump....the US is now leaving northern Syria. Which means that the semi-autonomous region known as Rojava is left without a Western tripwire.

Turkey has made it clear they intend to "stabilize" the region. We're about to see how well the YPG stands up to Turkish forces.

Donald Trump has just signed an order that will save American lives!

And will save the American taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars!

What a monster!

If only you could have voted for Barack ''Won The Nobel Peace Prize And Then Invaded Libya Which Helped Create ISIS'' Obama a third time, eh?

Not really. Americans weren't being shot at much in Northern Syria...most of casualties came from accidents, and those happen everywhere always.

Our troops were there to serve as a tripwire, not in an active combat capacity.
And will save the American taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars!
Again, not really. We're going to be paying for those troops one way or the other. We might save a little money by moving them somewhere more centralized, but we're not even talking pocket change...more like belly button lint.

Being President of the United States is complicated. No matter what you do or don't do, people are going to die as a result. There are arguments to be made for the troop withdrawal, but it's not a coincidence that virtually no military analysts agree with this move.

Obama didn't create ISIS. It was Reagan that did by giving support to them and having them trained to fight "Godless Communist" and then Bush Sr. angered them by sending troops to Persian Gulf. It's totally USA's own fault that ISIS become as powerful as they are.

Looking through old forums from 2006 is highly amusing. They think Americans were unjustified to feel upset about 9/11, lol. Even so, I will contend Bush "giving the people what they want," which is a decisive military invasion as feel-good politics, was the bad idea. Hear the Taliban offered to extradite Bin Laden if they could prove it. People can be awful.

For some reason clearspira was blaming Obama from it.

From what I've heard, Obama's softening of US presence in the middle east led to the growth of ISIS through exploitation of Iraq and Syria (and Lebanon or Libya or something).

People don't necessarily blame Obama (though Trump obviously made a big deal of it), but concur that that explains the uprising of ISIS/ISIL

Bush was the one who invaded Iraq on bullshit reasons and destabilized the whole region.

There is no "the one" we're talking about here as far as everything going on in the middle east, especially since the nearing end of the cold war.
