The great 2020 election thread....

Well, the DNC leadership is chaired by morons who wanna "play the game" rather than be honest. I can see why it's upset centrists, who know the truth, and the far fringe, who live in a fantasy world.

Means I've gone to the center. That was the good thing it did. A hard-line centrist. :P

I have a link.

This sounds like more of a concerning problem than Sanders for how much you talk about him.

He is just an idiot and a bad man. But the real problem is the failure in our leadership. Every person in America seems to agree to that now. That's quite the turn from two decades ago.

I've made a fuss in the past about his intrusion to the DNC, but really there's not much to blame him for running on the Democratic platform. Also though just also, there's a bit of speculation about the DNC just running him out of the way like a bulldozer in 2106.

Just for a thought experiment that came up just now, what do you expect a person in his position to even do? He had a consistent agenda with the position he campaigned for. Bill Clinton said encouragingly nearing the primaries that he had fair business running or something like that. So what aspects in specific detail if you will of his incursion would you mark upon him? Any "independent" party is just a waste of time trying to cherry pick their way in front of the nation.

I just feel like the vitriol that you talk of him is just so filled with hyperbole considering the sentiment isn't very consistent with how pretty much anybody else talks about him.

That consistent agenda is literally "the system is bad!" Past that, it was all over the map in terms of consistency and he attracted single-issue voters. My big beef is that Clinton voters especially of the female empowerment mindset or romantics were so emotionally invested in her, while he did play a huge role in her loss, let's not overlook that, he's become the scapegoat for why she lost, at least emotionally if not intellectually. Because he stubbornly clung to his pride until the end. In 2008, she put away her pride to do the good thing for the team. And in that sense, it validated what we had said about him all along. The passionate and not pragmatic Clinton voters are still in agony, and dislike the hypocrisy of those single-issue accelerationist voters of his he attracted who are not enough to actually help him or us, but to throw the system out of whack ever so slightly to help the other side. It's like trying to argue with a brick wall. You CANNOT win.

And most people do not know his private life. I find him disgusting as a person, period. It is what you assume the strawman of the GOP would be like.

I just couldn't care less about his private life. I know you've claimed some bad stuff, but the media's much better at doing dirty laundry then you're letting on here. As if they just turned a blind eye to it or something.

He's a uber-rich, elderly, Klansman who thinks asking for enough pay to not starve on is grounds for execution as a commie traitor?

Hey, you said 'GOP Strawman'.

In perhaps the flashiest move from any of the candidates that need a boost to qualify for November, Tulsi Gabbard might boycott the October debate. This week's debate could also be the last time O'Rourke, Klobuchar, and Castro are seen in the mix.
