ABC's response has been laughable to say the least.

This is just pathetic. We need to punish those doing so, not hide them. There's enough hiding them from the people in our communities who will defend them because they look so nice on the outside, or they are awed by what they do, or are close-knit members of the community... or our relatives.

Another thing to keep in mind for how laughable ABC's attempt at defensing this is with their "didn't meet our broadcast standards" excuse - not that terribly long ago, they got called out for broadcasting footage from a gun range and claiming it was war footage from Syria. Keep this kind of stuff in mind whenever any of these MSM companies says anything about how they have fact checkers and this supposedly makes them better than alternative media.

ABC's standards didn't stop them from reporting other allegations as allegations. The allegations around Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings being an obvious example. This stinks enough to make mushrooms want to migrate.
I personally believe Kavanaugh is guilty, though. It fits the mold, and past the "no proof," well... it's my feeling, and I own it. That said, if I were suddenly on the jury, I'd have to look past it. Because it can't be personal. It's supposed to be as close to pure fact as humans ever get.

So? I don't trust anything anyone says nowadays. Articles online can be faked. And with photoshop and video technology getting better (like moving closer to pure audio synthesizing) and the decay of the elite power structure that's ruled us for centuries, I don't trust anything period. It's a post-modern/post-truth world, bitches! Get used to it.
