That's old news. And something I don't really care about one way or another.MithrandirOlorin wrote:Well it was announced recently Discovery will have a Gay couple.
What I do care about is the lead turning out to be Spock's adopted sister.....

Fuck you, CBS. This is the kind of crap I expect from bad fanfiction. I'm still going to watch the pilot, but it would have to be great for me to watch the rest of the series.

Episode review: Chakogay learns that gay aliens taught his ancestors how to be gay and that's why gay is gay. 10/10 diverse and inclusive.Agent Vinod wrote:Call me old fashioned but i don't want it to be badly done.BunBun299 wrote:That's old news. Re: Star Trek: Discovery in trouble?
There's already word that the series is going to be cancelled.
The rumour mill is that CBS expects this series to fail now and they've already come up with a contingency plan because they're afraid of damaging the Star Trek brand. They're Discovery was not meant to be a true series, just an anthology story, and there will be a follow up series afterwards which will start fresh headed by Nicholas Meyer.
Source was Midnight's edge. Same source as the start of this thread. As always, take all rumours with a grain of salt.

There is at least a kernel of truth to build on there.

Is it just me or do the new Klingons' aesthetics seem similar to the demonic ancient Egyptian martian OG Sith?

Still makes me think more of the orcs from LotR. Armor is very Japanese, though.
