2019 Christmas show

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Back on the actual topic, I wonder what the original plan was. The CBS thing affects Trek but he's already done all the worst Treks. I guess something else he worried would get him in trouble. Or it's taken so much of his time he had to change plans. Well whatever happens I'm sure it'll be good like always.
Finally someone not ranting over a needed change. And back on subject. Sir will, thank you.

Every 0 episode of Trek has been on Christmas day. As was Who. And Stargate.
What about worst of new who?
That is season two Capaldi and still counting, with every new episode reaching ever deeper depths of badness. It is at the point, and I never thought I'd say this as someone who even loves Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy's stuff, where I think the show needs a full on hard reboot to recover. Too many bad decisions hammered too deeply into the show's canon now. It is past the point of no return. It is like when IDW introduced Visionaries into its Transformers comics and had to do a total restart because it drove away so many readers and just ruined the whole set up of the comic, that is where NuWho is now.
With an exception here or there (I'd be quite happy to never see the episode about the magic forest that grew over night again), I quite enjoyed most of Capadi's run.

''A needed change?''

Go on then I'm game: what was needed about it?

No, this subject is about what will or will not be this year Christmas episode, I will not let it get derail because people can't accept change.

I don't know if it will make this year's Christmas show, but I do hope Kill the Moon eventually gets singled out for worst New Who episode. The Forest one is bad as well, but at least it didn't support killing the entire world, AGAINST THEIR WISHES in order to save a BAYBEE!

I haven't seen the Orville so can't comment on that particular episode. I do hope that Chuck gives us a hint as to the original plan, because I'm curious.

Don't make a statement then wuss out. It makes you look weak.

I think "weak" is a bit too far, but I agree with the general thrust of the argument. I gave my own personal reasons why I did not welcome the change and felt that it did need radical action to resolve. I think it is only fair that the counter reasons be given an airing too.

Then someone should start a thread on why Doctor Who should be rebooted. I'm here for the ideas on what the Christmas show will be, not to argue the pros and cons of how Doctor Who has evolved.

Here is idea. Maybe you should make thread about discussing that because this thread isn't place for that. If you are willing to read people not agreeing with you that is.

He's an idea: don't make a statement, for example "much needed change" and then don't have the balls/ovaries to back that up.

Oh, show me one, ONE post in which I say I want everyone to agree with me or imply it. Just give me one. You couldn't last time you claimed that and you can't now.
