I watched Justice League twice (once in theaters, once on DvD) and I enjoyed it both times, which probably puts me in the minority. It wasn't the smartest movie made, and in fact could be facepalmingly dumb here and there, but I didn't regret seeing it either time. But then, I also didn't buy that DvD.

If a Snyder cut existed, I think I'd like it less if it was a darker, grittier take. I saw and enjoyed Wonder Woman a lot more than BvS, and it looks like Aquaman and Shazam! have done well enough. I wouldn't be surprised if a lighter tone wasn't what the DCEU strode for from here on.

I don't want it to be released and they regressed to the overly dark adn gritty story with phob intelligence and maturity again. I like the more light heart route it have.

Over all I think that Wonder Woman was first step to right direction when it comes to DCEU and both Aquaman and Shazam are really good enjoyable movies. Based on trailer Wonder Woman 1984 is going to be another good entry in DCEU. What helps all of those is not having burden of stupidity of BvS and Martha scene like Justice League has so they did smart move with that as well.

Heck WW 1984 seems to be actively ignoring and going against what was established in BVS and Justice League.

It's not like the first movie depended on it much though.

It never made sense because WW isn't one to retire after one war and not get involved with any other war after that. If she believes that she can make a difference she will do her best instead of sitting out.

Again I think that it was Snyder not understanding the nuance and personalities that make these characters good.
