So what do you reckon, boys and girls?
Are you sorry to see the back of the 2010s? Was the the time in which you found love, had kids, had great experiences, the time of your life? Or was it something that you are happy to see go and that the 2020s will bring fun, joy, and apple pie to your life? Me, personally, I am VERY happy to see it go. I have lost friends, lost family members, been hospitalised with illness at one point. I was very happy to see the 2000s go too for the same reasons. Hopefully the 2020s will finally be fun.
On a side note, I thought I would finally do a face reveal with this side-by-side comparison of me in 2010 verses me in 2020.
Here's me then:
And here's me now:
It is a dramatic change but I think I have done well.

It's not 2020 here yet, lol. But having completely divested myself in political activism past having opinions, I can safely say this is both gonna be an awful year, in terms of political fanaticism, and yet amusing in watching the clown show happen. As George Carlin said, front-row seats!

We've just had our election year. I pity you yours, especially coming off the back of an attempted impeachment.Yukaphile wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 1:08 am It's not 2020 here yet, lol. So Blade Runner and Akira are both set in the past now. I have to say, I'm kind of disappointed that we don't have that level of technology.

Well, 45 minutes from 2020. Closing another chapter out, six months left on probation and then smooth sailing from here on out.

This year started with my country in political oblivion and ended with... a ladder.
Ask me again in 2021 if that ladder was a good thing. I voted Brexit so I think so, but, I am hardly going to sit here and say that I cannot be wrong.

What do you mean about a ladder? I'll google any political connotations I might be able to find, but I'm not promising you a thing.clearspira wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 12:22 pmThis year started with my country in political oblivion and ended with... a ladder.

As we look toward a future full of wonder and distrust, one all-important question keeps coming to mind. Since we started with year 1 and not year 0, is this the last year of the old decade? 2000 was the last year of the old millennium, after all.

A ladder out of oblivion called ''Boris Johnson winning a huge majority''. Good or bad, Brexit is now a guarantee.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 6:10 pmWhat do you mean about a ladder?
