Is it me or does Anakin from episode one remind anyone of Wesley.

Uber skill at the expense of the other characters, everyone take every opportunity to praise him, and the creator care for him more than the audience.

It doesn't help that they had to make the solution so simple, it makes the hero army looks like they have no idea what their doing.
