I can't seem to full-screen this video at all

The non malware player doesn't come with fullscreen. But any laptop or smart tv should show it well enough. I watch on a small laptop and it is more than visible to me. However your device or browser may have its own full screen or enlargeable screen, you'll need to check the specs on that one for yourself I'm afraid. Even small it is still better than the old 56k modem optimised videos of the old internet though. Imagine trying to watch videos like Chuck's in quicktime, god, those were the days...

I’ve found her okay in small doses, though she does get rather annoying at times with the OTT nattering, at least one of the writers has cottoned on to this as well after giving Stammets the line: “Tilly, say less things.”

It's a pretty minor thing overall, but she tends to get distracted by her own excitement a lot.

And as if it's something I bet a lot of people aren't personally familiar with.

Hands down one of the top five worst characters in all of Trek. It is difficult for me to give an ordered top 5 because they all have reasons to take the top spot in different ways:

Neelix because he is dangerously incompetent, a con artist, and a jealous prick.
Troi because she is the galaxy's worst therapist whose treatments make people more angry.
Ishka because she is the galaxy's worst mother and not the least bit sympathetic.
Michael because she is a Karma Houdini, a Creator's Pet, and just a terribly executed character.
And Tilly because ''I'm such an autistic nerd!! Don't you find my antics funny??''

For those wondering, I don't think Wesley is as bad as these five - at least he improved massively after season 1. Most of his worst moments were due to Gene.

Is it me or does Chuck seems to like Micheal less and less with each episode.

It's rather like a song being played incessantly on the radio. Even if you like it, you can only hear it so many times before listening to it becomes torture.
Micheal would be a much better character if she was used a third as often.

Is it me or are they trying to do with Micheal that Shatner did with Kirk in star Trek five?

I am far more willing to let Shatner off. 1) It was one film, not the focused main of two seasons of a television show. And 2) Kirk, like him or not, is cultural icon. You can centre a film on him and pull that off. You don't have to be a Star Trek fan to know who Kirk is.

Who is Michael exactly? Answer. No One. She has not earned this attention. Find me a non-Trek fan who can tell you who she is, hell, a bet a lot of actual Trek fans without access to CBS All Access could not tell you who she is.

Yeah, the quick wheelchair shot was a pretty great background detail. I'd hope it would be fully motorized though - especially what with Pike ending up in one by TOS - but maybe this particular person likes to work out their arms, or go with old-school simplicity.

Chuck's increasing frustration with Michael is something I feel every time I hear her trying to be logical or philosophical. At this point, I prefer to think the Vulcans just taught her wrong. Maybe her tutors were all ENT-era leftovers who wanted to smugly reassure themselves that they were naturally the smarter species, and raised her to be their "evidence."

Everyone on the show sounds like a pompous moron the moment any of them try to be profound, or logical, or philosophical. The writers simply aren't up to writing at that level, but they keep doing it. Thanks to Dunning-Kruger, I bet they think they succeeded, too.

I suspect they certainly thought that to begin with, but the season 3 retool/borderline reboot proves that someone behind the scenes recognised the show was trash. Good shows do not need to be demolished and rebuilt.

I guess it's similar to why some people don't like Miko from Transformers Prime. Personally I find Tilly likable and endearing rather than annoying.

Characters tend not to bug me very much. But I guess in terms of writing or directing, Seska was kind of a dead-end character. Ro's episodes felt pretty bookended, like she was mostly introduced and sent off in two different episodes. I feel that I'm kind of an outlier in not really caring about Yar in terms of attitude, but I get what they were going for or why people would like her. Icheb seemed kind of a sappy character in Voyager. This guy whose mind is invaded by a Klingon in Discovery seems kind of dull considering what's going on with his brain and how he ends up in S31, I just can't remember him much in terms of personality.
