NBA suspended the season due to one of the Utah Jazz players testing positive. Oh and two days ago he was mocking it by touching microphones in the conference room.

Hockey will play with empty seats now too. No fans allowed.
I got nothing to say here.

A global recession is now a guarantee. Trump is right to suspend travel to the EU imo; but the airlines, exporters, holiday companies etc are screwed.

In other news, Tom Hanks apparently has it according to SkyNews.

Kent Brockman: Professor, without knowing precisely what the danger is, would you say it's time for our viewers to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?

From what I heard from this one Italian guy in Italy they close shops 6pm and streets are soon empty.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if things don't get better Evo Las Vegas might gwet cancelled. It's biggest fighting game event in the world with people from all around the world attending so Cronona virus risk would be huge. Plus Nevada already seems to have plenty of Corona cases of they own.

E3 2020 is now officially canceled. Not the biggest loss, at this point, but still notable. https://www.escapistmagazine.com/v2/e3-2020-officially-canceled-over-coronavirus-concerns/

The Formula 1 this weekend now looking very problematic. Team McClaren have pulled out and team Haas have several members in isolation.

The Houston Livestock Show has been cancelled. That's the largest, richest rodeo in the world. The Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade has been cancelled. They didn't do that for WW II.
