I believe the words were "Personally I want Trump to win," and not "Trump challenging China is a good thing." I mean I guess you could say it was the latter also, but uh yeah.

Calling it "The Chinese Virus", as our glorious leader continues to do despite the protests of leading epidemiologists also doesn't really help with the whole "Racist" thing. If you wanna know about the history of racializing diseases, just look at the treatment of Ebola.

Clearspira, this great "wait till summer" plan you hyped so much doesn't look that good

And everyone, please remember, just because somebody isn't a feeble granny with tubes in her nose, that doesn't mean they aren't immunocompromised. Lots of people with weak immune systems are your friends, relatives, and co-workers, slinging venti lates and driving your uber because it's either do that or starve.

I think that's an excellent observation and reason for people to be careful. Even people who aren't immunocompromised can pass it on to those who are or to the elderly.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 2:34 am And everyone, please remember, just because somebody isn't a feeble granny with tubes in her nose, that doesn't mean they aren't immunocompromised. Also, you can be infected but still asymptomatic for 11 days, so don't use "I feel fine" as an excuse.

Really? This is too much paraphrasing?BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 10:32 pm I believe the words were "Personally I want Trump to win," and not "Trump challenging China is a good thing." I mean I guess you could say it was the latter also, but uh yeah.
If anything I softened it.

At this point the question becomes ''how will Biden and Sanders deal with this if they win?''Rocketboy1313 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 5:06 amReally? Maybe by not whizzing the entire thing down their legs? I mean sure, Biden is good at pissing away victory, but even he would be hard pressed to manage the pandemic response worse than 45.

People thought that the last election was Hillary's to lose and she did. Counting out Trump is a bad move.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 8:37 am Maybe by not whizzing the entire thing down their legs? Frankly at this point what bothers me most is that Brexit will almost certainly not be happening this year given the market collapse. The Chinese have managed what Labour and the EU could not.
