Re: Coronavirus - the new pandemic
Welp, it looks like this madness has finally directly effected yours truly... No, I'm not sick, I'm only twenty-four. No, I'm out of a job for at least the next few weeks. The governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee, has just ordered all restaurants to close their dining rooms and go drive-thru/pick-up/delivery only. and as, basically, a bus-boy for Oak Ridge's Panera... Yeah...

As of this morning, my entire city is under a shelter-in-place order.

I just watched Jim Sterling's video about GameStop having refused to close during this crisis so that they scummy leadership could profit from this.

McDonald's has suspended all service in Britain from 7 gmt tonight. There were some hilarious scenes of panic buying Big Macs today if you can believe that.

People without easy and affordable access to fresh fruit and vegetables who aren't good cooks aren't going to suddenly have access to nutritious food that tastes good.clearspira wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 3:57 pm The silver lining of corona: the obese forced to eat properly and less litter in the streets. Sheltering at home with shelf-stable food isn't automatically "eating properly".

I'd like to suggest people get flu shots if they can and if there is no medical reason not to. If hospitals get really packed, you don't want to be in the position of needing one.

This should go without saying, but President 45 is dead wrong about the medical advice. Do NOT take hydroxychloroquine to treat or prevent Covid19! Not only is there a massive shortage for people who ACTUALLY need this medicine, but there's a lot of hospitals admitting people for hydroxychloroquine overdose poisoning.

Seriously?
Why did you decide that whether or not other people consume hamburgers was any of your drowned-in-the-river-Flegethon frelling business? What, did some fat person fuck your wife and burn down your house?
