I would be very surprised if he is gone forever. I agree with Kami in that I think he does a lot of this for attention - and I don't mean that in a bad way. I think he is probably a very lonely person based on some of the things he has said over the years sadly.

And why would you? If you feel you did a mistake, don't try to delete the mistake, just make it better next time. It's called "building character".
