Into the Spider-Verse

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Who in they right mind even takes Cinema-Sins seriously? After all they are not even meant to be taken seriously and have always been comedy channel.
Well, breadtube did.

Not really my area of interest so I didn't even know about this before the review (jumps for cover!) Really interesting realistic / comic / cartoon look to it which I really liked. Looks suspiciously like Mass Effect's Tali has snuck in there though.

Later on Marvel made it she had an attraction to 1610-Kitty Pryde. So one of Peter's best friends and his ex-girlfriend. I always felt Marvel needed to fold 16-10Jessica into the 616 like they did with Miles and Jimmy Hudson(1610-Wolverine's son).

@BBally81 I don't remember if it was the first miniseries or the sequel but Marvel vs Capcom 2's version of Spidey also appears and apparently killed. Was I the only one that shipped Spidey and Firestar in SM&HAF?

It's understandable that Miles wanted to be back at his other school, because sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name.

And they're always glad you came? Where you can see that troubles are all the same?

For those mornings when you roll out of bed, Mr. Coffee's dead? When the morning's looking bright
And your shrink ran off to Europe and didn't even write? And your husband wants to be a girl?
But you can be glad, there's one place in the world where everyone knows your name?

I'm very happy Chuck drew special attention to the Kirby-inspired nature of the dimensional portal. There's sooooo much good about this movie but seeing THAT on screen is what gobsmacked me in the theater.

The problem is that the man behind Cinema-Sins contradicts himself, at one point he's says "oh you're not meant to take this seriously" while on another he goes "these are my views and you need to take them seriously". So he changes his tone depending on his argument.

Even if it wasn't meant to be taken seriously as original planned, people use it as part of their arguments, I had an argument online with a guy who hates the Daniel Craig debut Bond film Casino Royale and he used the CinemaSins video on it as part of his argument.

I was under the impression that it helped create the Super Sentai genre.

I think in spiderverse they may have mocked another Japanese spider-man in a throw away line and if you have ever read it or listened to WMR's review of it, that was well deserved.

There were 2 shows before that that these days are counted to be part of Super Sentai (that wasn't always the case) called Goranger and J.A.K.Q. Those 2 shows weren't very successful so Super Sentai could had ended before it really got chance but success of Toei Spider-Man and idea of having giant robot saved Super Sentai.
