Into the Spider-Verse

This forum is for discussing Chuck's videos as they are publicly released. And for bashing Neelix, but that's just repeating what I already said.

Goranger was supposed to be successful but it was J.A.K.Q that flopped.

Could someone explain the comic that apparently everyone is hating on?

It was an event called Spider-Verse, it was written during Dan Slott's run on Spider-Man (he's the guy who temporary killed off Peter Parker and made Doc Ock the "Superior" Spider-Man for a while), he these beings Chuck mentioned are basically inter-dimensional vampires who suck the life force of any one connected the Spiderverse or Spider energy or whatever it is.

Basically this being went around killing off many Spider being throughout the multiverse including the Hostess Spider-Man and the Spider-Man from Marvel 1602, MC2 Peter Parker who was the father of Mayday Parker aka. Spider-Girl so Spider-Man and the rest of the Spider heroes went around forming an army of Spider heroes to combat the threat, everyone was involved main Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man (no the original from the Ultimate Universe but the one from that divisive cartoon show that was still airing at the time), Toei Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider (both Kaine from the main universe and an alternate universe Ben Reily), Spider-Ham, Spider-Man of India (a version of the character Marvel created for the Indian market) and even the Spider-Man from the Spider-Man manga (not Mangaverse though that Spider-Man did join up, I mean the actual really weird and depressing infamous 70's Spider-Man manga from Japan written by the creator of the 60s manga and anime hero 8-Man with art by the artist of the manga Crying Freeman)

My favorite bit from the film was a two parter. The first is when Peter asks "Do your friends call you Doc Ock?" She replies "My friends call me Liv."

Later Aunt May watches Doc Ock come in and mutters "Great, it's Liv." Which makes you go Hmm.

Friend of mine actually likes the "Superior" Spiderman, apparently for how over the top he was.

Like I said, it was divisive, many Spidey fans didn't like it because not only did they kill off Peter and replace him with Doc Ock who had Peter's memories but they did it in the milestone 700th issue of Amazing Spider-Man, which added oil to their fiery disdain. However, the Superior Spider-Man title that followed sold really well, which means a lot of people seem to have enjoyed it while it lasted.

It should be noted that only after they added the robots did they include Super in the the titles.
