Doesn't seem like it qualifies for terrorism.

There's more to terrorism than being a jerk to people who piss you off, no matter how much of a jerk and how pissed off you are. Terrorism is all about intent rather than action - are you doing what you do to try to scare a larger group? Lashing out isn't terrorism.

The attack itself has to be for political persuasion.

How does political protesters opposing a statewide government policy kidnapping journalists and demanding they delete political coverage of their protests not qualify as "political"?

It does. The question is whether or not their actions are designed to scare people into going along with what they want - "do what we say or we might hurt you too." I believe that that's the necessary component to label someone as a terrorist. They're trying to create terror (this can make the line blurry in any individual attack, if the target is the only one they're interested in attacking or not. Whether or not that makes it any different as to how the perpetrators should be treated...)Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:48 pm How does political protesters opposing a statewide government policy kidnapping journalists and demanding they delete political coverage of their protests not qualify as "political"?

When it doesn't fit agenda of those in power it seems as well as agenda of those that share political views with those in power. Then again those in power only really care about they campaign donetors and they rich friends so to them those people are convient fools.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:48 pm How does political protesters opposing a statewide government policy kidnapping journalists and demanding they delete political coverage of their protests not qualify as "political"?

Or more like "terrorism is treated more seriously so why don't we start implicating people that aren't on our side to level the playing field?"

I'd say attacking people covering your rally and commanding them to change the coverage is a good way to menace other journalists and, thereby, push the public recepiton of your political agenda.Riedquat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 5:47 pmIt does. So many pseudo-intellectuals insulting a self-made Billionaire/President with such poor grammar and spelling. Gotta love it. Get woke harder, losers.

What evidence do you have that he is self made? Or a billionaire?
