Trump Becomes "Lava Level Mad"

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. - Global warming: catastrophic loss of property and life on a scale much larger than coronavirus, enough to destabilize human civilization)
- Pollution rollbacks: thousands dead)
- Income inequality and wealth consolidation: look around
- Illegal immigration: ~1% decrease in income to lowest wage workers. Illegal immigrants are less likely to commit a crime than legal citizens. So generally... not much, really.

And go "yep, the last one, that's what we need to focus all our policy on." It more seems like the last one is a scapegoat for the bad stuff other policies are doing.
Well most of those things are what only leftists are actively concerned about lol.

I have a dream that one day there will be a multitude of political positions, all based on science, and all coming from people who genuinely want to make the world a better place. And that maybe debates can concern things like "how we solve the problems" and "what problems should we prioritize."

I'm starting to think human extinction is more likely than that.

What actions? They're choosing what political issues they feel like compromising on, and which ones they don't. It's what we all do.
And if they choose to compromise on the issues that affect me and my loved ones, then I am going to judge them on those action. See what I mean? You can judge people as a group by the things they actually do. That's different from judging them because they are redheads or Muslims or whatever.

That logic doesn't hold up. Going off what you've said in older posts, Mr. Sanders has compromised on gay marriage like any other politician, he was called "Senator Wishy-Washy." And taking this to the most logical extreme, you're not a woman... genetically, but you don't identify as one either, right? And that is not meant as an insult, either! So if I upset you with what I'd said, then I apologize for the statement. But yes, going off this assumption, you should absolutely compromise on women's issues because you're a male who supports the LGBT community. I should as well. Everyone should. Tribalist mindset helps no one.

What alternative do you propose? Why do you bend over backwards to defend a horrible horrible group for some pretense of neutrality or balance?

My feeling is that I think your perception of the other side is a bit skewered, if you unironically feel that sixty million people are somehow all guilty. Do you?

That's too many people to be wrong? That's your tack? Do you remember how many people fought for the confederacy in the civil war?
