Mr. 45 raises valid points when he will inevitably reverse Mr. Biden's own racism against him. He's already said words to the effect of, "Can you imagine if I was the one to say this? They'd have pitchforks and torches out for me!" Yeah, he's horrible, but that's who he's always been and we know that. What's the DNC's excuse for thinking you gotta fight fire with fire?

This was a reason I was happy Trump won over Hillary. I think most of the press (Fox aside) will be harder on Trump than they would have been on Hillary. If Trump was making gaffes like Biden (as opposed to his own gaffes), I think most of the press would be howling for him to step down.

I wasn't even talking to you, specifically. It was a general statement. Yes, why should Mr. Biden expect praise for common-sense practices? I refuse to let that low bar be the standard of our public discourse.

Thankfully social media left at least has some experience with reverse propaganda. Yeah he'll say that like he says everything, but the left will potentially not get too hung up on it for it to reverberate to the swing moderates.

It's literally a choice now between which racist that you want in office, which bigot, which sexist, which r$%^@#, which senior citizen that is behind the times. Only Mr. 45 is way better at the sales pitch than Mr. Biden is.

So your claim here is that the left who hates racism will vote for guy on the racist side because he called their running horse racist?

That is hardly what I am inferring at all. I'm saying, however, the left is having their own hypocrisy shoved in their face. If you have problems with Mr. 45's stance on racial views, you should have issues on Mr. Biden's stance on racial views. If you have problems with Mr. 45's stance on women's issues, you should have problems with Mr. Biden's stance on women's issues. And so forth.

If we're gonna cite sources from Mr. 45's past, then Mr. Biden's past is absolutely free game. His use of the term "racial jungle" to describe an integrated America for future generations, his support of George Wallace, implying his skin color meant that Mr. Obama should have some kind of a criminal background, and his vote for the 1994 crime bill that Mr. Sanders himself voted for and Ms. Clinton even endorsed as well despite being First Lady? What do these say to you? He's Trump Lite. So why not vote for the real thing?

I'll say it again. Nowhere is it made more plain for all the voters out there that both parties are really just the same thing than in 2020. An apathetic grey. The only differences are very hollow at the end of the day, and it's why I wish we had more than two major political parties. Perhaps a third one could rein things in better. Because bipartisanship seems to invite tribalism that is antithetical to a progression of society.
