JK Rowling Backlash

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

My biggest problem with MeToo is how hard many are trying to convince me that adult women do not have agency. He didn't rape her, she chose to have sex with him.
Well honestly that's not really the issue surrounding MeToo despite what people might say.

So threesomes, foursomes, gangbangs and orgies are not sex?

Well if her position was transplanted to like a major city council from her seat or something, I think that might qualify as a degree of cancellation. Though that'd be more of a sitcom circumstance than anything really.

This season, the rookie of the year progressive candidate is gonna learn that it's not so easy to reform the nation when she finds herself working for the San Diego city council!

People are upset simply for social media removing people from their posts. Calling it cancellation has always just been a matter of hyperbole I would say. And sure, does make people come off kind of asinine.

What? People coming off as asinine? That's one of the prime component traits of the general public. Easy universal access to the internet was a mistake.

Really that's the measure of a lot of today's problems. Aside from the real ones that is.
