I went to a high school where colored and Latin minorities are heavily suppressed, so the city-state of New York Council of Education thought that sending 18 white kids to influence a better image for the school (and the Council). God, that was embarrassing of what the Council did and what I was forced to do to "appeas" the students.

If you want intolerance made-flesh, that museum is just a FRAGMENT of stillborn hate in our species and the reasons we try to resurrect that hate into our new world.

Simply put, it's "the american dream" without taking into account culturally relativistic stats that are more prevalent now in days and in a more stretched out economy.

There is alot on there that is shared by other cultures and not just the 'white' culture. Also there are so many white cultures that alot of these don't apply or barely apply.

I remember reading an article awhile ago that showed that majority of atheists are white and the largest religious ethnic group are blacks.

I think the only people who believe that "cause and effect relationships" or "plan for the future" are white things are the far left and the far right. I wonder if the Klan is going to trot this out as reasons for black/white economic disparity.

Whiteness isn't really so much about a human being being white, as it specifically refers to the dominant American culture, or maybe ethnic characteristic as outlined by history. And that happens to be white. It's a bit detached as far as precise color coding, further than that already is (white people aren't the actual color white). It is a bit reverse discriminatory, I guess you could say.

It doesn't really help that I'm not really aware of any caucasian minorities (fitting western european) across the world. I'm sure it exists, and maybe there's some domestic issues over there. But mainly whiteness is just focusing on domestic geography.

Guys, none of this is listed as negatives.
These are just the prevailing concepts associated with what you would classify as "white" culture in the United States.

Not unique to white people, not to spite other racial groups, but what is seen as a sort of "default" that many see as "normal" and may even look at as prescriptive, that if a person is not married by a certain age they are seen as abnormal, that a typical way of starting a conversation is "What do you do for a living".

You all need to stop being so sensitive to this kind of thing.
