Without a doubt. When Eli was in his prime he did some magical things for the franchise. The two Super Bowl runs were certainly big deal. Funny thing though, outside those two runs, Eli never won a playoff game.GreyICE wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 10:03 amThe Giants have had some good years though. Some really good years with Eli. Come on, you took two rings from Tom Brady. That's insane. Yeah, Daniel Jones currently walks into sacks like its his business, but it's hard to deny your franchise has done some really impressive crap. If Jones can develop some awareness and pocket presence, you could put things back together.
The deadskins are just shit. In the time you've picked up two superbowls, they've what, lost a playoff game once or twice? I can't even remember if they've won a playoff game in the Snyder era. I feel like they have to have, but they're just that perpetually garbo.
Daniel Jones was a rookie and there is the possibility he can turn into something. He does have great traits but he has a severe case of fumblitis.
I had to look it up, Redskins last won a playoff game back in 2005. Which at least it's in this millennium.
I got nothing to say here.

Meh, Eli Manning was decent. Michael Strahan was a fucking god. I remember teams double teaming Strahan the entire year just to control him, and he’d still get sacks. One of the greatest talents I’ve ever seen.

So apparently they retired it in favor of... nothing. They say it can take up to 18 months to actually think of a name, which is about how long it takes for Dan Snyder to get every racist and idiotic suggestion out of his head. For now it'll be the "Washington Football Team".
I recommend "The culture is actually damn good". Or maybe "The Washington Gropers" for the activity the team excels at.

I don't know, what's something (animal, prefession, place within, etc) Washington is known for? Other than Seatle, grung music, coffee, Shadowrun, Fraiser, and/or tech companies.

You're 3000 miles off of which Washington we're talking about.ProfessorDetective wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 11:45 pm I don't know, what's something (animal, prefession, place within, etc) Washington is known for? Other than Seatle, grung music, coffee, Shadowrun, Fraiser, and/or tech companies.
That's the defective Washington which formerly was known as the District of Columbia before they decided to tack a president's name onto it because people kept mistaking them for a South American country.
But I guess they're a bunch of frauds and cheats, which makes them basically like Catalyst Game Labs, so Shadowrun isn't far off.

No, but they should totally name it that way to mess with people's heads.
