and the thing is that me defending the white and cop side of the argument doesn't mean I don't care about the non white issues.
there is also the fact I am not sure what do think about these issues. I am totally willing to believe these things are actually happening but people keep telling me to listen to actual people of color's experiences but both me and my dad have done so and his conversations have never gone over these issues and mine, wile talking about hardships, was positive or at least neutral, on police.

Instead of waffling over the meaning of the pithy phrase "Black Lives Matter", why doesn't anyone address the elephant in the room, namely that the actual organization itself is Marxist? Its own founders admit this.

Because they bank on the confusion between thinking black lives matter and supporting Black Lives Matter. It allows another false charge of racism against those opposing the movement.SSJGodGoku wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 6:50 am Instead of waffling over the meaning of the pithy phrase "Black Lives Matter", why doesn't anyone address the elephant in the room, namely that the actual organization itself is Marxist? So like if someone started an organization called "Don't Kick Puppies" which had the expressed goal of murdering all Asian people, they could shut down all criticism of it by saying that its opponents must want to kick puppies.Darth Wedgius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 6:18 pmBecause they bank on the confusion between thinking black lives matter and supporting Black Lives Matter. If I may ask, where do you see the problem with that?SSJGodGoku wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 6:50 am Instead of waffling over the meaning of the pithy phrase "Black Lives Matter", why doesn't anyone address the elephant in the room, namely that the actual organization itself is Marxist? Being Marxist can be pretty loaded as a type of adherence. It can mean a range of things, like believing in an exploitable market of supply and demand of labor to wanting to abolish capitalism as supported by the legitimate authority.

In the most generous circumstance, being a marxist paints an incorrect world view based on the incorrect assumptions of 150 year old market conditions.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 10:41 pmIf I may ask, where do you see the problem with that?SSJGodGoku wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 6:50 am Instead of waffling over the meaning of the pithy phrase "Black Lives Matter", why doesn't anyone address the elephant in the room, namely that the actual organization itself is Marxist? The concept of capitalists exploiting the worker is based on the incorrect Labor Theory of Value. This single theory underlies a majority of marxist theory making the whole thing rotten to its core.
Why would they want to abolish capitalism, it's supposed to collapse in on itself according to marxist theory. The Cycles of History anyone? If we're going to ignore or abandon the parts of Marxism not based on the labor theory of value, I can definitively say being a Marxist is bad.

The concept of capitalists exploiting labor is a product of incomplete regulation. Otherwise we wouldn't have unions.Antiboyscout wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 11:54 pmIn the most generous circumstance, being a marxist paints an incorrect world view based on the incorrect assumptions of 150 year old market conditions.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 10:41 pmIf I may ask, where do you see the problem with that?SSJGodGoku wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 6:50 am Instead of waffling over the meaning of the pithy phrase "Black Lives Matter", why doesn't anyone address the elephant in the room, namely that the actual organization itself is Marxist? Labor value theory as far as I've heard people promote it is pretty inadequate yeah.

I'd be more impressed by the mental contortions necessary to move from "All lives matter" protesters to Marxism if I wasn't more familiar with the gymnastics performed by the mental midgets of the American right. I guess being flexible is easy when you have no spine.
Some more fun showing the problem:

All Lives Matter protesters re-enacted George Floyd's death as a Black Lives Matter march went by

Which brings the number of people killed by Trump supporters versus the number of people killed by Antifa to "a few dozen to zero". Which group is the terrorists again?

For your information, I hate the right too. As for your question, the answer is both of them.GreyICE wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 5:54 pm I'd be more impressed by the mental contortions necessary to move from "All lives matter" protesters to Marxism if I wasn't more familiar with the gymnastics performed by the mental midgets of the American right. I eagerly await your condemnation of Trump's campaign as a terrorist organization.SSJGodGoku wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 8:33 pmFor your information, I hate the right too.
