Next to Red Dwarf now being huge, the US for two seasons had a huge TV show that resulted in a cartoon called ALF. I know seasons one and two where the best, and season three was ok and then came the god-awful season four. The show was not filmed in front of a live studio audience because the set had to raised to make room for the ALF puppet. A studio audience was added in later but Recording the audience laughing as they watch the EP of a huge TV screen. And after a failed made for tv film was made, Alf was sadly turned into a pariah, with his late appearance on Mr. Roboot tv show. I'm happy that Red Dwarf finally got its notoriety but whatever hatred for ALF needs to end. Seasons one and two are still one of the best for the ALF tv show.

I'm really tempted to participate in this thread, but I've weirdly felt for a lot of my life that the less I know about this character, the better.

Then again that feeling was probably spawned rather irrationally.
I may represent an entire race of artificial lifeforms. If so there could be home planet for others of my kind. A shared history and culture I'm not presently aware of.
