A sitting senator, a traditional qualifying office for president
Has an extensive record in public service before that
Under 60, a likely-necessary factor for the Vice President of a 77 year old man
Would assuredly be replaced by another democrat in the senate to complete her current term due to being from California
Has national recognition due to her skill in questioning during senate hearings and her short Presidential run last year

Whether her various identities were a primary or tertiary factor in her selection, it’s disingenuous to claim she is not a highly qualified VP selection by any standard measure of the office.
