Best crossover in Star Trek

Post by BridgeConsoleMasher »

First thing that comes to mind for me is the general arc involving Spock, Sarek, and Picard. Though that's not a particular crossover really. Together, it was just cool to see Spock interact with Data and Picard, and the mind meld between the other pair was a strong moment.

Within the franchise, I like Sisko being at the Battle of Wolf 359 and thus the interactions between him and Picard in Deep Space Nines pilot.

But if we want to be broader, both Star Trek/Doctor Who and Star Trek/Transformers are a lot of fun.

On screen, I like the Scotty episode. The Spock episodes felt a bit thin and “oh my gosh Spock” but the Scotty episode was just high class. It managed to be a very good episode, with a very good premise and follow through.

Off screen the Star Trek/X-men crossover was so stupid it’s not even funny. And that kind of works.

Definitely the Scott episode. Because Scotty and TOS Bridge. That and the concept of a whole Dyson sphere. I thinks it's the largest or at least most massive artifical construct in sci fi.

Unification is great specifically the small interactions between Data and Spock. Because, well it was cool.
I got nothing to say here.

I liked "Relics" the best so far. I didn't really like the TNG/Dr. Who crossover, but I did like the Star Trek: TAS / Transformers crossover (Fortress Tiberius? Yes). And I honestly enjoyed Generations, but it's not at the top of my list for even TNG experiences.

I loved the GL/RST crossover, simply for the novelty of seeing Green Lanterns working with SF. And there's the older X-men crossovers. Love those. And the idea the Doctor and the Cybermen helped the Borg go in a canon direction is interesting.

Idunno I'm kind of guilty on this because I came back to it so late, but I liked how Trek '09 made Scott a revolutionary with his transporter ingenuity.

When I actually saw Relics having been more familiarized with Trek I felt like they just made him bumbly.
