My view is that I like the show 10x more when it's Slice of Life and a huge amount less when it's trying to be epic.

It's no secret Seth just wanted to make Star Trek and had to sell it as a comedy.

I'd prefer day to day Office Comedy IN SPACE over fighting the robot apocalypse, though.
