I thought folks might want to share fan-created films they like.
I'll throw in a few Star Trek fan films, but I don't mean this to be limited to just Trek.
Star Trek Horizons, an Enterprise-era tale most probably already know about:

Aurora, a CGI TOS-era series about merchant mariners that's a personal favorite:

And a sequel to Aurora, Mudd in Your I:

And given the sensibilities of many of us, I just wanted to say this about the Paramount fan-film guidelines:
Fan Films

Re: Fan Films
Starship Exeter is easily my favorite of all the fan films. The Tressaurian Intersection is a masterpiece and, IMHO, is better than many episodes of canonical Trek.

Re: Fan Films
I've seen a few good ones, particularly for LotR, Marvel/DC (some of the "I'm a Marvel, and I'm a DC videos), Star Wars, and Dresden Files. Might try hunting up some links later.
Actually, the rate of shit to quality seems to be way, way better for fan films than for written fanfic, at least to me. Maybe I've just gotten lucky for a change, but it may also be that the greater amount of time, effort, skill, and money that has to go into making a film tends to weed out the idiots, incompetents, half-assers, and people who are just writing fan fic as a flimsy pretext to indulge their fetishes.
