I don't care and neither do Disney.

Frozen is an odd color example. It is hugely popular with nearly all girls and made Disney a ton of money. Now take any other colorful movie you mentioned and sure some girls liked it, and it made some money, but none were really big hits.

Sure there are some 'one minded' folks of color that will only watch or buy things of their color: they lead a color coded life. But nearly everyone watches, likes and buys 'white".

Asia is a great example as they have gone crazy obsessed over White Media, especially in the last decade or so. This is why they slip places like China into so many movies now....but they don't even need to. Take any typical American white movie and Asia loves it, just as much as any American. And it's really odd as it shows an alien culture to them, but they love it anyway.

And it's not about "just" having a woman as a star, after all both Disney and Hollywood have done that for years. It's the "Woke" twist. To be Woke the character has to exist in a limbo and not be "like a man" or "be like a girl", so this gives you a flat, boring character...and it shows.

Hmmm, interesting dichotomy here.

So lets engage in some Venn Diagram theory. Every group has "xenophobes" and "colorblind". Xenophobes will only watch movies where they're in the majority. Colorblind people will watch any movie. Here's the group population breakdown, by major groups:

A: 2,100
W: 1,400
B: 1,000
I: 1,000
M: 700

Now given all populations are identical and we are giving no one special consideration, and therefore all populations consist of both "Xenophobes" and "Colorblind", if nearly everyone buys W products, but every other product category is missing a significant chunk of people, which group has the largest population of "Xenophobes"?

What BS numbers are these?

"W" accounts for 59% of the market and "B" 13%
"B"s could be nothing but xenophobes and it wouldn't effect the bottom line as much as turning off just a 1/4 of the "W"s

This also presumes that all xenophobia is equal as if "A"s and "M"s don't have greater animosity toward "B"s than "W"s

Odd. I'm sure if you stare at them long enough, you should be able to figure them out. Maybe read the post I'm responding to, then my post.

But why don't you show off your math skills. A,M, and W have a subpopulation that are "Xenophobic towards B." W is the most popular color. Which group has the most xenophobes?

Of course if I point out that their definition of "white" appears to be using the southern "one drop" rule, I'd be a terrible, terrible person, wouldn't I?
This is how Whiteness is generally discussed in the US anyways mind.

Like, how often do we describe Barack Obama as bi-racial?
There was a hilarious article about how THE PRINCE OF PERSIA movie was whitewashed. The New York Times did an article on it.

Then an Iranian government department with too much time on their hands sent them a letter that basically said, "You realize that we're white people too, right? Like we're where all white people come from originally. It's where you get the term Aryan."

Here's another article on it.

I mean, I'm not really defending Iranian racism but it kind of underscores white doesn't really mean anything.

I said this before, there is an observation that Aladdin got whiter the movie went on. In the animated version of course.
I got nothing to say here.

This is weird I replied to this and then it disappeared.

Basically I said maybe the movie was big due to the big song in it that was played non stop.

Or the two girls being a big part of the movie that attracted the girls.

Mind you I haven't seen the movie in a long time and only saw it once with my niece who saw it dozens of times and bugged me the entire movie.
I got nothing to say here.
