I don't know who to vote for and really don't know of any way to decide. on the one hand, I hear all the bad stuff about Trump but my dad, who pays attention to news sources who don't lean left nor right, will always have a counter argument for me. and my dad isn't a stance Republican or right winger, he just does not think Biden is the way to go but would gladly vote for a democrat if he agreed enough with one. and he things Trump is just out for himself too and both sides mostly just want power but he simply has a different idea to most who is the lesser of two evils.
I am going to make it simple for you. Democrats know Biden isn't the best candidate, but they will vote for him. Why, because to vote against Trump. That simple.
Republicans know (not including his most loyal base) that Trump is very flawed. But they will vote for him because they don't want Biden in office.
It's that simple. You could put Libertarians in there voting for the independent.
Me personally? I voted for Trump. Not again. I will vote for my left shoe before I vote for Trump.
Biden is capable of delivering a speech without bragging about himself.
Biden is capable of at least pretending to care about other people.
Biden is willing to wear a mask as a safety measure during a national pandemic without months of prompting.
Biden is not openly trying to commit voter fraud or rig the election.
Biden is not trying to destroy every institution of public benefit he can get his hands on, from food stamps to post offices.
Biden is at least willing to pass some laws that might benefit a large number of Americans if put forward, and occaisionally listens to other people who work with him.
The bar is somewhere near the Marianas trench, but Biden clears it.
45, however, would sell your father to an organ farm for one single can of diet coke and then laugh about it.

it's more that my Dad thinks Biden is too old and weak to be President so really, there is no other choice but Trump.
Trump is 74 at the time of this post, 3 years "younger" than Biden. His physical and mental faculties are very clearly not in the best order (watch how he drinks, stands "upright" or walks), doubly so for the later, given he was educated to be a sociopath and only be bothered with one thing: Himself.
Sorry, but your dad is a massive idiot if he thinks that Trump is a better choice. Even a considerable part of the right-wingers who do support Trump, basically only do it in order to troll the Democrats.

Don't you think that's kind of a silly thing to judge about two similar people that you don't know?
one thing, he trusts USA Today a lot more then any other news source and based on them, he is satisfied the stuff like the Russia connection is untrue. give me more USA Today articles and I'd forward them to my dad if they do say anything incriminating. But ultimately, he will only be convinced of someone's guilt is a judge in an actual court of law, says so.
and my Dad does disapprove of some policies of the Trump Administration like limiting abortion rights, the military transgender ban and cutting funding to special needs programs.

Biden and 45 are both old, but unlike 45, Biden doesn't live off of McDonalds or believe that getting exercise depletes the finite amount of energy in the huan body.

again, my dad trusts USA Today and already hates certain policies the current administration has made, so, give me links and I will pass it onto him if Trump has done something really bad. but my Dad knows that the President has little power and thus, my dad is focusing on who's better for the things the President does control.

my dad really does disagree with some stuff the Trump Administration had done like the restrictions on abortion but he says he is still going to vote for him. not sure why but I won't call him a bad person for doing so.
Many people are not as forgiving as you. I cannot think of a single positive that outweighs the negatives of 45. In fact, I can barely think of a positive, period. If your father thinks a many-times-bankrupt casino owner is going to improve the economy and create jobs with his business acumen, then well, I don't know what to say.
Just remember, 45 would sell your father to human traffickers without shedding a tear if he thought it would benefit him in any way. He's acting soley to benefit himself, and almost everything that benefits him is detrimental to the vast majority of human beings in the country. From a game theory perspective, the only reason to support 45 is because you want to hurt your enemies more than you care about being harmed yourself.
