You can't just have the government arrest people, have the government hold them in a camp, have the government force them to remain there, then claim "well it was done at a private detention camp, I don't see any government involvement." That's like saying "I didn't have anything to do with murdering my wife, that was the hitman I hired!"

Where’s the line?

Well you see, it's because anyone for demolishing a completely corrupt organization is actually against the concept of that organization. So people who want to dismantle the police are against the concept of justice and pro crime. People who want to dismantle ICE are against the concept of borders and pro unlimited immigration. And people who wanted to dismantle the USSR are against the concept of government and pro anarchy.

It's the total strawman approach to discussion - defend the indefensible by making shit up and then insisting that anyone who is against the indefensible is actually for that made up shit. If asked for evidence, post a link to someone on twitter whose a marxist, and then yell "COMMIES" as loud as you can.

I want to say this. Whether it's one camp or a thousand, it's still s***.

On some cynical days, I wonder if perhaps it's far kinder to just close off our borders - to everyone. Not minorities or specific ethnic groups. ALL. Since there's just so much hate, unrest, pain, chaos and horror in America now, how can we possibly take care of others, if we can't even take care of ourselves? Kinda similar to the outlook on saving the planet. That's very short-sighted when we, again, can't save ourselves. At least in the present.

I feel for many of these poor immigrant refugees, mothers and squalling children from poverty lands. I guess that could be as much stereotyping as saying Mexicans are sending their drug dealers and rapists, not their best, and I could understand that. But it's just a very harsh world out there and a lot of people deserve better. I dunno. This is what happens when you get too involved in other people's concerns. You can't save them all. To try is an exercise in madness.
