That struck me as a "And suddenly Supergirl's dad is murdered."
What did Dean Cain do?
Dean is a hard anti-immigrant Trump supporter and they're....well the show's creators are not.

Odd since he was once Superman...
I got nothing to say here.

One of the most comic loyal Superman(s) at that. His Lois Lane too. Just the right amount of strong female, sexiness, and damsel in distress. Many other Lois(s) to overboard on one of these three things.

Weren't they that loyal to the source material, that they did something, we Germans call "gegenseitig befruchten" (literally: cross-fertilize), meaning, that something, that happened in the show would be reflected in the comic and vice versa? Of course, I think about the wedding?

Plus, from what I've read, Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher must be class-a-actors, since they apparently hated each others gut, what you don't see on the screen. There you see Clark and Lois falling madly in love with each other over the course of the time.

CharlesPhipps wrote: Mon Sep 14, 2020 6:13 pm Yes, the heart of Rick and Morty is that they're awful people full of emptiness.

The heart of Lower Decks is they're a bunch of good hearted people eager to science the shit out of things.

So much more Gravity Falls than Rick and Morty.
Yeah, I only saw two episodes of Rick and Morty, and as far as I can tell the humor was 90% "Doc Brown from Back to the Future is a drunk." Which isn't even necessary, Doc Brown is a pretty wacky character to begin with.

Lower Decks is a show where the good guys are good, the bad guys are bad, and things turn out all right in the end. There has yet to be an episode with a downer ending.

On the other hand if your issue is gross out humor and blood, there's a bit of it. I'd classify it as Simpsons level (at least first 11 seasons - have no clue what it's like nowadays) - if you think Simpsons is a bridge too far, you're not going to like Lower Decks.

Lower Decks is definitely going in the right direction. Most of the conflicts are a result of misunderstandings rather than people actually being evil or bad. Problems get resolved when people realize that no one was intentionally being bad and they're all shake hands and become friends.

A Star Trek spy series does sound good, I'm not outright against Star Trek Section 31 as there is a lot of potential with telling stories from their perspective.
I'm glad this one looked like it died a quick death. Doing Star Trek 007 just does not seem like it would work.

I'd love to see a ultra dark Michelle Yeoh TV show.....but don't think that would work in Star Trek. Plus they can't make a good ultra dark show unless it's on a couple set places(CBS could never do it)

While I do have mix feelings on Star Trek Section 31 as I feel Section 31 works better as a foil to the heroes than being the heroes, and if they did stop production on it I won't loose any sleep over it, but until their is an official statement from CBS, it's still coming, just not right now, for example just because JonTron hasn't made a new video lately doesn't mean he's dead.

Uh, what the fuck are you talking about? Did you literally not read two posts down from the first post in this thread?

Section 31 isn't cancelled. It's full speed ahead.
