Personally I'm fine with people not liking the same things I like, we all have our own personal tastes and preferences, and even as someone who does enjoy both Star Trek Discovery and Star Trek Picard, I'm also not blind and recognize they're not perfect and I'm willing to be critical of them.
But I feel that as Madner Kami and BridgeConsoleMasher pointed out, nowadays people take their dislike of something to an unhealthy level, basically going on a hate-filled crusade against these new series, insulting and harassing not only the people who do enjoy them, but the people who work on them as well.
And while Chuck started out his career trashing Star Trek Voyager, he has long moved past that and has covered dozens of different Science Fiction works outside of Voyager and Star Trek itself with varying responses than just negativity, and not just reviews but looking into the background of these works and even historical looks into various topics like the comic industry, and even then he gives credit when credit is due with Star Trek Voyager.
And I do agree with CharlesPhipps, if a series or film really upsets you, then don't expose yourself to it, I personally don't care for Star Trek Enterprise and have varying grievances, so it's been years since I've actually watched it, and even when I did share my opinion on Enterprise with the Archer Bio, I was careful not insult the people who worked on the series.
