They were charged with wanton endangerment, which is an act that shows a reckless disregard for human life. This is different to manslaughter which is an act of killing someone without malice, and murder which is the act of killing someone with malice.

The reason for this decision is because they were aiming at the guy next to her WHO WAS FIRING AT THEM and missed. The way you and others like you keep on describing this incident is that the police entered her room and just executed her in her bed for no reason. This is nothing more than yet another tragic example of why your gun saturated country is a terrible idea.

Make me an argument as to why this was manslaughter or murder and also make me an argument what the police should have done differently when coming under fire. Because I am not seeing it.

The wanton endangerment charge was for them shooting into a different building. Nothing they did to the woman they killed in her sleep has been deemed illegal.

The police could have started by showing their badges so that the guy living there new they were law enforcement officers and not home invaders.

If they didn't come with malice, why did they file a report saying nobody was injured, and why did they deny her medical treatment?

Also like, cops aren't even supposed to kill guilty people? That's why we have juries and executioners and judges.

They weren't aiming for her or knew she was there. If the wanton wasn't for her at all, then that's weird and ironic and I'm curious, but as a citizen with a gun it doesn't seem like they went out of their way to bring her into the situation.

What I'd think though is that there would be more considerable consequences for official conduct with consistent punitive measures. Reckless endangerment is like for speeding in a school zone, not jumping your car off a building and running someone over.

Okay, someone comes into your house and murders your girlfriend. They're not wearing uniforms, you're not guilty of a crime, you're not actually associated with the criminal, the reason they're coming isn't there [no drugs], and the criminal they're seeking evidence against is already in jail.

Are you supposed to take it?

Well, if this criminal "man" could somehow see that the strangers were armed, then he should of been able to figure out they were police.

Breanna could have ducked and covered....and, oh, not hang out with, date and sleep with a criminal thug(more then one too).

Well, most law abiding people have no problems.
