Because I'm saving my empathy, compassion, and kindness for the reporters and staff he willfully exposed by ripping off his mask when he walked into the white house, and the secret service agents he infected because he wanted to make the stock market go up by driving around, and everyone he has condemned to a slow, horrible death because even when it infects him, personally, he does more for corona virus than he does for his constituents.

again, this whole thing was a knee jerk reaction from me and this is generally fine even if I don't agree with it but I would still like to remind you that hoping someone murders Trump or that he dies of the virus makes you kind of a hypocrite when you protest police brutality, I'm sure George Floyd's murders and those who defend them thought Floyd deserved it for being a criminal.

And I suspect the actual people like that, in all countries, in all past historical periods and dictatorships or democracies, are doing that, and in far larger numbers than you may think. But the dominance of historical revision, agenda-driven talking points, and presentism and cultural relativism mix that up and blend it into a blur so that we end up making all sorts of strawmans about the other side.

Kind of a sad irony here, since this to me is sort of perfectly emblematic to the issues in society at large. I generally think the vast majority of most people all agree on what matters, yet there's such an extensive disconnect due to our own cognitive biases, we wind up accomplishing nothing on the large scale, yet we can do plenty at the smallest levels.

Where do you rank me on that, curiously? Frankly, there's such horrendously rotten fringe lunatics out there, I hardly cared if they were to die. Granted, I think there comes a level where you not only should pull yourself back, but are demanded to by the ideals of a civilized society, since civilization is what builds the future.
