Not "suspect", but know. That all depends on whether the slackers at the IRS find it "too difficult" to audit him properly, the way they complain it is with most rich people.

Then you surely must treat Mr. FDR and Mr. Jackson the same way? Or Mr. Roosevelt? As they exercised executive powers quite substantially during their administrations.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 5:03 am Not "suspect", but know. I'm not talking about executive powers. I'm talking about all the crimes he brags about, and the ones he committed before entering office.

Re: So Trump has Covid-19
again, why should I trust all the bad things said about Trump when I just found out that the "fine people on both sides" thing was taken out of context and not what it appeared to be at all from a centerist news source that, thus, has no bias toward either side?

What was this news source?Dragon Ball Fan wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 5:02 pm again, why should I trust all the bad things said about Trump when I just found out that the "fine people on both sides" thing was taken out of context and not what it appeared to be at all from a centerist news source that, thus, has no bias toward either side?
The context being a rally of far-right thugs came to defend a statue of a man who waged war to defend slavery where said rally resulted in the death of a young woman who was murdered when a far-right thug ran her over. When i see far-rights thugs chanting blood and soil I don't think very fine people I think scum of the earth.

Trump was defending those who were there to protest taking the stature down but were not associated with the neo nazis. I think the article was from CBS or USA Today.unknownsample wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 6:58 pmWhat was this news source?Dragon Ball Fan wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 5:02 pm again, why should I trust all the bad things said about Trump when I just found out that the "fine people on both sides" thing was taken out of context and not what it appeared to be at all from a centerist news source that, thus, has no bias toward either side?

I thought you lefties cared more about context and reasons behind actions then the actions themselves. Like when you say black criminals had to be criminals to survive, I agree with that sentiment, to be clear but you aren't applying it equally.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 4:47 am For me, it's not that blurry. Unless they did something to oppose his rule, in some small way, I hate them too.
We have a word for people who supported Hitler, not because they hated the Jews, but because of economic anxiety, or because they thought it would bring jobs, or they wanted Germany to be powerful again, or they didn't want to rock the boat, or they thought they could personally benefit from it.
They're called Nazis. Nobody cares about their motives anymore.
But hey, I don't have to hate his supporters, because they will likely die horribly with or without my hatred, because he spews virus all over his inner circle, his Rose Garden gathering, his supporter rallies, his fundraising events, etc. Because that is exactly the type of person he is. And his followers are the type of people who will ignore medical science and refuse to social distance or wear masks.

The people defending the statue marched with tiki torches chanting "Jews will not replace us". You'd think if they weren't associated, at some point, they might go "Hmm, what's with all this nasty talk about Jews?" and realize they were on the wrong side.Dragon Ball Fan wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 9:01 pmTrump was defending those who were there to protest taking the stature down but were not associated with the neo nazis. But then you're the person who says it's bad to say "I hope you die, you miserable wanker" to somebody who caused hundreds of thousands of senseless deaths and stole money from children with cancer.

okay, okay, associated with the nazis or not, that was dumb of me to bring up. but my point as it applies to Trump supporters still applies.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 9:28 pmThe people defending the statue marched with tiki torches chanting "Jews will not replace us".
