For me, it's not that blurry. Unless they did something to oppose his rule, in some small way, I hate them too.

We have a word for people who supported Hitler, not because they hated the Jews, but because of economic anxiety, or because they thought it would bring jobs, or they wanted Germany to be powerful again, or they didn't want to rock the boat, or they thought they could personally benefit from it.

They're called Nazis. Nobody cares about their motives anymore.


But hey, I don't have to hate his supporters, because they will likely die horribly with or without my hatred, because he spews virus all over his inner circle, his Rose Garden gathering, his supporter rallies, his fundraising events, etc. Because that is exactly the type of person he is. And his followers are the type of people who will ignore medical science and refuse to social distance or wear masks.

I thought you lefties cared more about context and reasons behind actions then the actions themselves. Like when you say black criminals had to be criminals to survive, I agree with that sentiment, to be clear but you aren't applying it equally.

The people defending the statue marched with tiki torches chanting "Jews will not replace us". You'd think if they weren't associated, at some point, they might go "Hmm, what's with all this nasty talk about Jews?" and realize they were on the wrong side.

But then you're the person who says it's bad to say "I hope you die, you miserable wanker" to somebody who caused hundreds of thousands of senseless deaths and stole money from children with cancer.
