Herm... y'know, you could make the argument that a superhero film would fit that definition.

  • Probably the worst of a franchise.
  • 21st century Film.
  • Some people would argue it is not sci fi or fantasy.
  • But presumably not most people because speculative fiction is still the theme around here.
My first thought is Die Another Day. It has plenty of sci fi to it, but most people don't think of James Bond as sci fi or fantasy. And it was awful.

Its a pity he said ''21st century'' because personally I would say that if he was going to tackle a Bond film it would be Moonraker.

2003 Danish film It's All About Love.

Its narrative can be classified as apocalyptic science fiction, but the director prefers to call it "a dream". Not an adaptation or a remake! It was widely panned which fits with the Christmas tradition of being terrible!
