GOP in CA did voter fraud and will do it again

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Spoken like a true cynic.
Cynic: noun.
A person who believes that people are motivated purely by self-interest rather than acting for honourable or unselfish reasons.

Sounds like a fairly apt description of the human race to me. I'm a proud cynic myself. I think that's why we love superheroes so much as a society: they're unrealistic. I'm not talking about their powers, i'm talking about their morals. People who truly put others before themselves are a very rare breed.

Only a cynic would believe that.

It's rather postmodern. Especially for someone who espouses modernist works like comic books and Roddenberry Trek'ism.

You said that voter fraud by the GOP in CA was the Democrat's fault. What kind of insane troll logic is that?

Here in Britain when I go to vote all I need is my polling card I give my name and address at my local polling station I get given my ballot paper I then fold my ballot paper and put it in the ballot box.
Americans seem to enjoy making voting complicated.
It's called voter suppression, my egg-not-washing friend. B) The more barriers you put up to voting, the better a chance that people either give up or get discounted because they didn't file form A slash B Epsilon, and the fewer votes you get, the better chance the GOP have of winning.

Is that why democrats have a conniption and cry racism when republicans suggest voter ID

One of the reasons, yes. Requiring a "valid ID" opens up many more opportunities for bureaucracy being used to get in the way of somebody exercising their right to vote. Even if you don't think it is that big of a deal, replacing or getting new IDs costs money as well, and some people really don't have the cash to spare. It may also require several forms that those who are citizens, but have difficulty with English, may have trouble filling out. And yes, minorities are more likely to have economic difficulties.

So it was ok for California to force me to get a new Real ID drivers licence because they wanted to give licence to illegals and let them vote in local elections, but it isn't ok to do it on a national level to simplify the voting process.

The most repeatedly disarming thing about the Trump era is how it’s exposed that laws basically are not even prosecutable if you’re in the right position. I’m not even talking about high priced lawyers clearing your slate. I mean LAWS JUST NOT BEING ENFORCED AGAINST YOU AT ALL.

I know, can you believe all those violent protesters and literal arsonists that DA's in places like Chicago and Portland refused to prosecute?
