And minorities who hate BLM and Antifa. I know 'em. Ah, but I'm sure the leftists here will once again cast doubt onto that, kinda like how they claim Admiral X wasn't native. You know, that is precisely what leads to bad poll results like this.

Counteropinion: We're seeing an election held in a country unprepared for a large mail-in vote.

Counteropinion #2: People in Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan and Nevada woke up on the other side of the bed and Trump is losing despite the very similar nationwide popular vote. We're seeing the result of strategy.

No one is disputing Mr. Biden was ever going to get the popular vote. But Mr. 45 blatantly shattered the credibility of pollsters. Whatever the results, they need to stop acting like they know all the answers and they've fixed it. They have not.

If they want to survive as an industry, then they need to go with the research groups even now that have been laughed off for being unconventional. But then we have an unconventional leader, don't we? At least for now. The closest I saw to getting accurate was Rasmussen since it took the human element from the equation, which diminishes the chance for a social desirability bias. If they could shorten the time frame down, and try to build more trust between them and the people they poll, we'd have more accurate results.

Look at it this way. Mr. Biden seems on course to win the EC votes, yet Mr. 45 is already closing in on the kinda votes Mr. Obama had in 2008. 67 million votes! That's outperforming Mr. Obama from 2012! People are desperate for change, and Mr. Biden will be unable to deliver. This is still a hollow victory since people were expecting a blue wave, and it never materialized past removing Mr. 45 from office. My view is the DNC is so obsessed about future demographics, they are taking the ones they have for granted in the present RN.

I can't stand Mr. Biden. I want him to step down in four years, as people have hinted, since nobody likes him, and don't confuse being against Mr. 45 as being for Mr. Biden. Will a slimy career politician actually let go of power? I have no idea. I feel physically sick having voted for him, and I never want to do that again. But I think it was worth it for my family.

My biggest worry about Biden is that the man doesn't just look old, he acts old. As In, "I can honestly see him dying by 2024".

Which in a way would actually be a horrible shame as that would mean America's first woman black president would have gotten in because the old white guy died. That is hardly the same thing as winning the race. And I appreciate she is running alongside Biden but let's be honest, who voting Democrat today really voted because they like her and no other reason?

That is not what Fascism is.

Remember that Mr. Biden has been a career politician for a long time. He's wanted the white house since 1988, and never got it. A unique combination of a pandemic, low visibility, favorable media, and finally the incendiary and offensive nature to Mr. 45 is what put him over the edge. Even Mr. Obama showed concerns for him throwing himself into this race.

Let's assume he makes it past 2024. He's said he'll be a transition president. I am skeptical. It just goes against human nature. Especially since he's sought the job for 40 years and oh, BTW, also played second fiddle to a historic president like Mr. Obama, so that's gotta leave him feeling a little jealous. And I can guarantee you the progressive wing won't stand for this in 2024. Vote-shaming them has run its course the same as we see with the MSM vote-shaming Mr. 45's base. That just doesn't work anymore. It's why the polls were so dead wrong.

But, eh, it's 'Murica. You gotta kinda expect that. Mr. Biden will just be a useful puppet, but, and I cannot stress this enough, things will get slightly better. Kinda. I hope. I just hope it means no more riots. At least it means no more flagrant viciousness from the white house. That's something.

....?

A Modernist ideology that sought to reframe society according to Modernist perceptions, is somehow ancient?

Fascism is very much 19th/20th Century in the same way Marxism is, it just lacks the intellectual veneer that Marxism possesses.

Polls were dead on in 2018. And these were within the margin of error.

The most likely thing is that Trump on ballot causes 3-point error. (His voters don't answer truthfully or at all on polls, maybe.)

Also, media reporting a blow out for months may have energized the base.
