I say this stuff because it worked that way for me. I had a phase where I not only wished death on those I deemed evil, I fantasized about becoming a real life Punisher. but the fact that I never actually did that means my sense empathy held me back.
Goku, it’s perfectly fine to wish ill on monsters.
so, I should have gone on a murder spree of violent criminals?

No, of course not. First you have to become a cop, then after you kill the fucker you report that you feared for your life because you saw him pull out something shiny that resembled a gun. Could have been a sandwich, but hey, it all happened so fast and you couldn't risk hesitating! And for bonus points, you can plant a gun on him and/or drugs and the case is closed. Rinse and repeat. My Cardassian colleagues do this all the time and no one complains, because they're dead.

I meant individuals who actually are violent offenders, is it okay to kill them outside of due process then?

Why are you asking questions you already know the answers to?

The only thing that truly justifies murder is knowing how to cook.

again, this kind of thinking is a slippery slope, witch wile a falacy, can happen and there is no way of knowing if you are falling down it, so, we all should be the better people just in case, like how Batman never kills because he's worried that if he does, he'll go crazy and drive the whole human race to extinction though random killing.

But as long as you make decent pot pies out of your victims, at least they served a purpose, and you honored them.
