Because Mr. Biden rightfully called out the SJWs, now they act like it's a big sin. At the very least, he'll try the middle-ground between "defund or abolish" and the GOP tried-and-true tactic of "do nothing." But since the middle road is the path to nowhere in today's political climate, you can bet "do nothing" will reign supreme.

He did - whether it was love or hate, or hate for the other side, he drove the high turnout, which doesn't bode well for 2024 if you want the country to go more blue.

Defund police coupled alongside anti-police bigotry is horrible language that seems to illustrate the fragmented and disorganized nature of the left. Those defending it insist it's about reform, yet the hard-liners really just want to abolish law enforcement altogether, I've seen them saying this. If you guys can't shape up your language and rein in those fanatics on your flank so that to outsiders you don't come off as rabid nutcases, you're never going to gain the sort of political capital you want to change society. Because "defund police" won't win political seats in 2022 or 2024 when people WANT law enforcement, society would break apart without it. And you're dealing with less informed voters and those who prefer soundbytes and simple, direct language and slogans. Defund police is meant to offend people's sensibilities. Do you wonder why that's never going to make headway and contribute to a red wave?
