Senator adds Prison Time for Online Streamers to must-pass bill

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Senator adds Prison Time for Online Streamers to must-pass bill

Remember the SESTA/FOSTA protests? Remember the Internet Blackout event? This is like that.

People violating DMCA by the standards of overprotective megacorp copyright holders could serve hard time in prison if that goes through. I dunno, can you think of anyone we all know and care about who has gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to erratic online enforcement of copyright law?

Maybe call and/or write your senators about this.

Dear gods this sucks. >_<
