Supposedly this one is twice as infectious as the previous strain but is (currently) believed not to be any more dangerous. The conspiracy theories are already there of course given how this has appeared immediately after the vaccine roll out, but I don't go for such things. People need to realise that Covid-19 is now a year old - hence the name. Of course it is beginning to mutate. That's what viruses do.
The issue as I see it is if it has already spread abroad.

I'm honestly more concerned that all these conspiracy theories are going to cause more harm than if they were actually true.
