Ones that can't be cracked are bad anyway.

But anyway, the latest episode did take a giant shit on the The Last Jedi.

The other thing is that it further muddles The Last Jedi. From that episode to that movie what exactly happened in between.

Unless Doomcock is correct that there is something going on about making the Sequel Trilogy an 'alternate universe' thing.
I got nothing to say here.

I think if all Last Jedi did was this then fans would be at minimum just as pissed off. I wouldn't call it a shit on.

And what's muddled? The Jedi class falls like 20 years later.

I don't want to get into the episode but basically the way I see it, is what was said in the end and how The Last Jedi portrayed it all. The events that 'started it' in the movie, the flashbacks, are not that far removed from the episode.

But I will say that if does bring up where is Baby Yoda in the Last Jedi. That is something that we are all thinking about when we watch the series.

The Last Jedi did far more than just this. But the focus on the ending of the episode is just one element alot of fans had an issue with when it came to the The Last Jedi.
I got nothing to say here.

That CGI Luke was an utter embarrassment that took me out of what's supposed to be an awe aspiring scene when everyone's looking at Luke with astonishment.

And THE LAST JEDI was better.

You're welcome to your opinion of course. Although it's interesting that, in a week where even the Fandom Menace types are gushing about Disney Star Wars for the first time since 2015, you would pick the side of TLJ. What aspects of that film do you think would have improved the Mandalorian exactly?

Could be, I'm surprised they've not learned that lesson after trying to do too many films, that didn't last long.

The ending was spoiled for me on Twitter. I didn't really care to notice the CGI, but also I didn't feel like it really looked or sounded like him. I felt like they just got a different actor.

As comparing it to the Last Jedi, I suppose if all fans wanted was the Rogue One Vader scene and a very subtle yet endearing sendoff, then I guess they wouldn't have called the movie cherry picking in that case.

That was my impression too. I didn't notice it being CGI but I did think they'd managed to find a Mark Hamil lookalike.

Not using a CGI Luke would have been a step up. Either recast or just don’t use him at all. I would have been perfectly fine with a new actor taking over the role.

Really, might possibly be a consistent figuring of him a few years after RotJ.

I wonder though if maybe there was a dilemma or something where they either could have bent the needle to more like Luke but less real looking or more real looking but slightly less like Luke for some constraining reason.
