There has been no official confirmation she was fired. The variety article this whole thing originated said she's not currently employed by Lucasfilm at this time. Mando season 3 isn't even in production yet and won't be until the Boba Fett series gets off the ground. It sounds like rumors and speculation snowballed into a non story.

Just remember what giant hypocrites Disney are. Yeah, it's within their rights to fire her - but if we're going with the Nazi comparison, then they head over to work with China alongside concentration camps where women are forcibly sterilized. And they claim to stand with BLM, but pushed Finn to the side in TFA's poster.

I'm not saying cancel Ms. Carano, Mr. Pascal, or even an outright bigot like Ms. Ireland. I'm noting, however, their bosses are just appallingly horrible. Whatever their flaws, the Disney heads are far, far worse.

She's a brain damaged MMA fighter who's instinct when getting hit is to punch harder and seems to apply that to all her life choices.

That said, I won't really miss her character because it was a pretty one-dimensional.

The second part is important because during their big “hello stock holders here is what we’re doing to bring home that bacon for you” meeting they announced a New Republic Commandos series, which logically would have a place for Carano’s character as someone we already know... but apparently does NOT have a place for Carano.

So yeah there’s every reason to believe that she’s cost herself lucrative work with her conspiracy theorizing.
