Well, look at it this way. What's the last huge success we're ever going to see? What's the last movie or TV show we all tuned into? I think TROS and GOT. Because let's be honest, there is no zeitgeist anymore, there's a ton of other entertainment mediums out there you got for people to check out, other alternate franchises, and it's what makes Disney and LF's consistent narrowing of their approach and going for gold so bizarre. Because you want real diversity, you can't go completely woke left. You have to realize white people, white men, and republicans also buy sneakers, that's the fact of it. And with the further fragmenting of the monoculture, what I see is that they're not making nearly as much money as they could be. I think Avengers: Endgame proved that, when TFA made more domestically than that movie.

Mr. Lucas has spoken before about carving out a little niche and finding that group of fans, and that's the smart way to go in today's increasingly competitive industry. I also personally think a lot of these poor policies were being held back by him. There's no way he'd ever let somebody work for him who'd say some of these things they do now, because he was a genuine idealist who dreamed of a better world. But let's look at all these recent string of events, shall we? Mr. Hidalgo mocked SWT for his feelings, agreed it was "crocodile tears," Ms. Carano has been fired, Mr. Pascal called seventy million people (would that include the POC who voted for him?) Nazis, and it's just getting unsustainable. I don't think DSW is doomed or anything, but I think it will get worse as time progresses and changing tools provide a viable alternative.

I think the fact that the right has gone absolutely insane over the last decade is a far stronger reason for the erasure of middle ground. As a minority it's hard to find middle ground with a side that is openly breaking bread with Nazis and the Klan.

I also find the comparison of comparing the left to Nazis for wanting gender recognition to be more common to be especially distasteful because the destruction of decades of gender research was one of the first things the Nazis did when they got into power.

That sounds very much like someone who only sees in extremes. Equating "the right" - a very wide area - with Nazis whilst complaining about any hints of the comparison, equating what they did with someone who's view might differ a bit on gender - that is over-simplifying and generalising to the point of absurdity, find a position you hate and reacting by retreating to an opposite extreme, just as blinkered and prejudiced, even if not built on a vile basis like the Nazis.

I'm seeing in this exactly the type of attitudes that have created so much suffering throughout history, starts off with some extreme idiot being vile, then anyone that can even be vaguely associated gets tarred with the same brush, so an extremely wide group of people get treated like they're the worst, and hey presto, we have a new prejudice, just as unreasoned as whatever started it (and even that start is probably the result of centuries of the same back and forth).

And Nazi isn't a hyperbole anymore. There is one party in the USA that is supported by Nazis, has Nazi candidates, and holds Nazi rallies, and it aint the democrats.

There a significant number of neo-Nazi and fascist groups on the right and not only has the right done nothing to curtai, but actively covered for them by tieing the hands of the FBI, who have been warning of terrorism from neo-Nazis and white supremacists for a very long time, and spewing hateful rhetoric in an attempt to appeal to that crowd. I also don't think calling out transphobia and engaging in transphobia are opposite extremes.

Gonna call seventy million people fascists? Do you include the POC among those? Mr. Trump outperformed among minorities for the first time since 1960 and beat Mr. Obama's vote totals, which no one is really paying that much attention to past their own preconceived notions. To me, that's because the woke types are getting so outrageous in their holier-than-thou judgments, and that BLM's reputation is in the mud thanks to the riots last year, that many minorities are ditching it.

Why is that shocking? Did it ever occur to you minorities, such as Latinos, can be just as "racist" to, say, black people? It's all BS in the end, and I'm tired of this sick obsession we have with race and gender. Big business and Big Tech want you divided, it's why they're using POC and the gender card and LGBT nods as a shield to defend themselves, they don't really believe in this stuff anyway. I mean, even SJWs don't like DSW. There has been criticism the les-kiss in TROS wasn't that progressive, which it wasn't, and that for a company who boasts about BLM, they had no issues pushing Finn to the side in the TFA poster because the Chinese government told them to cater to "their" racists and not American racists. Mr. Boyega has also had huge issues with how his character was handled, which is true.

Government and corporate and tech expansion is out of control and all the shrubs you blame for voting for Mr. Trump aren't to blame, yet you SJWs have no issues doing that anyway. As I said, you'd rather side with German SJWs than your own countrypeople, yet you also bleat about Russian bots nonstop. So which is it? Do you care about America or not?
